Hi and thank you for visiting my new photography and blog site.
My name is Leimomia; I am new to photography and just starting out, but it was just after one opportunity to hold a Canon SLR camera and to take pictures of anything and everything that I thought was beautiful; I knew I was hooked!
To be honest and at risk of being made fun of; I am pretty sure that my love for photography came about when I was 9. I was in the Girl Scouts and my troop was visiting a nearby zoo. I had taken so many pictures while we were there, that at our awards ceremony at the end of the year, they presented me with a specially made badge that had a camera embroidered on it. Apparently, they have never had someone take some many pictures at one time. I still think I have those pictures somewhere and maybe the badge too.
There is something so carefree and calming about photography that I just fell in love with it. With thanks to some really great guys; Stephen McFadden and Amon Focus, who took their time to help me, I have some of the basics down and am looking forward to learning all that I can to become a better photographer!
